Celebrating filmmakers and short films connected to Hawai‘i, the ‘OHINA SHOWCASE is back September 20. This year’s event will offer free admission to the community, with limited tickets available to reserve at OHINA.org. Festivities include a pre-show reception at 5:30 p.m. at BoxJelly, followed by films screening at Consolidated Theatres Ward starting at 7 p.m.
The film lineup includes acclaimed shorts as well as new works in progress, showcasing a selection of stories and/or filmmakers that have been a part of the ‘OHINA LABS script development workshop through the years. The evening will also highlight opportunities for other local creatives to advance their own projects.
